The dip into e-commerce is part of of a much larger digital initiative where Buxom wants to interact more with makeup addicts, especially through made-for-mobile platforms. And instead of us combing through the aisles of makeup retailers, we can now just type in “www.buxomcosmetics.com” and find a plethora of new options to get closer to them. The brand’s custom hashtags as of now consist of #BUXOMBABE, #PLUMPDIMENSION and—named the same title as the page—#BANDOFBABES. The feel of social posts also doubles as a catalogue of looks for shoppers. The website links all the products in user pictures to the e-commerce listing so you can not only press “like” but also press “add to cart.”
