Philthy Rich Drops “Sorry For The Wraith” Video Off ‘Hood Rich 4’ Project [Watch Now]

Philthy Rich

A respected emissary of Bay Area street rap, Oakland’s Philthy Rich is one of the nation’s realest emcees. On “Sorry For The Wraith,” Philthy Rich’s latest video single, the Seminary City-born rapper turns flexing into an artform, effortlessly flowing over RJ Lamont’s sinister, arpeggiating keys with elegant boasts.

Stunting with his homes next to his prized Rolls Royces (plural), Philthy emasculates broke boys with a smile on his face in the Dope Scorsese-directed visual.  “Sorry For The Wraith” is the latest visual from Hood Rich 4, Philthy’s latest 22-track opus which focuses on the realities of street living, making it out of the hood, and giving back to the community you come from.

Rhyming over trap-style instrumentals from the likes of ZaytovenSpiffy, RJ Lamont, Cassius Jay and Shawty Fresh, Philthy makes up the difference between Bay Area and ATL-style street music with Hood Rich 4. Featuring appearances from Birdman, B.o.B, G. Herbo, Shy Glizzy, Young Dolph, Young Greatness, Doughboyz Cashout, Jim Jones, Casey Veggies, Rockie Fresh, Fat Trel, Skeme, Sauce WalkaSosamann, Icewear Vezzo, and more.

In addition to these albums, Philthy released a steady stream of high quality visuals, including “Motivate The Hood,” a luxurious clip with cameos from Birdman and Jim Jones, and the  video for  “Fuck I Look Like,” which features Detroit rapper Kash Doll.
