2 Chainz Passes on Invite to Perform at Trump Inauguration

2 Chainz revealed on Instagram Friday that he turned down an invitation to perform at the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump next Friday. The Hair Weave Killer admits that he always wanted to visit the White House to meet Barack Obama but was never invited.

“I seen all them beautiful pics of everybody going to all these parties. I just wanted to say what’s up to Barack. We all came from a troubled past, but I seen him give people some really big chances,” he admits. “But anyway it didn’t happen, and I’m cool with that.”

Now that he has finally gotten his invite, the rapper believes it was because “they can’t get nobody else,” he explains. “I had to say ‘nah,’ no matter how much money it was. I probably won’t be going to the White House no time soon.”

Tity Boy isn’t the only one turning down Trump’s invitation. According to Pitchfork.com, Broadway singer Jennifer Holliday was originally on the bill but withdrew today, citing a “lapse in judgement.”

Snoop Dogg also had a thing or two to say about the matter, promising to roast the first “Uncle Tom” to perform at the ceremony.

“So which one of you jigaboo ass niggas is going to be the first one to do it,” he asks on the video posted to Instagram. “I’m waiting to roast the fuck out of one of you Uncle Tom-ass niggas. Which one of you niggas gone do it first?

Snoop then goes into a slave accent, saying, “I’s be’s the one that’s performs for him sah.”
