50 Cent stopped by the hospital to check on Troy Ave after the New York MC was shot on Christmas day yesterday. 50 posted a picture of the two on Instagram, stating, “Dope boy Troy all good, Merry Christmas.”
Troy Ave, real name Roland Collins, was shot twice while on his way to see his family in Brooklyn for Christmas. A lawyer for the rapper says his injuries are not life-threatening and that he drove himself to an area hospital for immediate treatment.
A tweet from the New York City Alerts account reports Troy was shot in the arm and grazed in the head while driving his Maserati in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn around 5 PM last night.
Troy was sitting in a red Maserati in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn when the shots rang out and was grazed in the arm and head although the injuries were non-life threatening.
