Ab-Soul’s long-awaited new album #DWTW will finally be released this Friday and he just dropped the new single “Threatening Nature” for fans to snack on until the end of the week. Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith confirmed the announcement on Twitter.

Paying homage to his fellow Carson, California OG Ras Kass with “Threatening Nature,” Ab-Soul tears a few pages from his big homey’s 1996 manuscript “Nature Of The Threat” and tackles relgious ideologies and America’s distorted ego through her His-Story lessons. Dropping game over PakkMusicGroup’s tracks, Ab-Souls’s bars include:
