“Braxton Family Values” star Towanda Braxton was feted with a surprise birthday party to bring in her 43rd year on earth, courtesy of her mother Mama Evelyn Braxton and her sister Trina Braxton, replete with a with a Baltimore-themed party and a handful of her closest friends. The cocoa-coated cutie has been working on her acting career while balancing being a mother and wife, so this was a perfect respite from the daily grind and the opportunity to turn up!
Towanda Braxton had just come back from handling business in Washington, D.C. when she was showered with love from her family and her friends, including the likes of rarely seen Nivea.
She and her party guests were treated to a top-notch cuisine that was Maryland-themed including ribs, crab, mac & cheese and deserts.
Towanda Braxton is widely known as an R&B artist who revamped her singing career by performing with The Braxtons in 2010 with her sisters. She started singing at age five and signed her first record deal in 1989, though it was her older sister Toni who went on to become an award-winning, platinum-selling singer.
Towanda Braxton perhaps gained her highest levels of fame as reality star for the ultra- popular WE TV series “Braxton Family Values.” She married Andre Carter in 2003 and together they raised two children. Happy Birthday, Towanda!
