Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, Migos, Lil Yachty and More Play Lollapalooza in Chicago This Weekend

Starting today, over 100,000 music fans will head to Chicago’s Grant Park for Lollapalooza, one of the world’s largest annual music festivals. This year’s lineup features some of the biggest names in urban music and GRIP magazine will be on hand to bring you exclusive coverage all weekend long. With over 150 artists and eight stages total, it’s easy to miss out on seeing your favorite artist take the stage. Here’s a recap to help you plan your Lollapalooza weekend.

Thursday August 3rd

Wiz Khalifa will be headlining on Lolla’s opening night, hitting the Budlight Stage at 7 pm coming right behind Migos, who will be performing at 5 pm. Over on the Pepsi stage, Chicago’s own Kweku Collins opens up at 12 noon while Lil Uzi Vert serves as the evening’s headliner, going on at 9 pm.

Friday August 4th

Friday is a light day for urban music at Lollapalooza.  Two artists that will be performing that day are Wondaland’s Jidenna and Run the Jewels. Both acts will be performing on the Grant Park stage with Jidenna going on at 2:45 pm and Run the Jewels performing at 6:45 pm.

Saturday August 5th

Saturday is a big day for Lollapalooza as Chicago’s hometown hero Chance the Rapper will be headlining over on the Grant Park stage. His set is scheduled from 8:30 pm-10 pm. Outside of Chance the Rapper, Hip Hop newcomer Amine performs on the Pepsi stage at 1:50 pm and 21 Savage is on the Perry stage at 7:15 pm.

Sunday August 6th

Detroit’s Big Sean closes out the festival over on the Bud Light stage at 7pm while Lil Yachty plays Tito’s Handmade Vodka stage at 6 pm. The Pepsi stage is full of urban acts on this day. Noname goes on at 2:50 pm, 6lack at 5:15 pm, Joey Bada$$ at 7:45 pm and Rae Sremmurd closes out the stage at 9 pm. Los Angeles native, Duckwrth hits the BMI stage at 1:10 pm and Machine Gun Kelly is on the Lakeshore stage at 1:30 pm followed by Charli XCX at 3:30 pm.
