The latest partnership between Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers and Warner Bro.’s Looney Tunes pairs animated rivals against one another for a showdown on your sole.
The “Rivalry” pack is on sale now and features characters like Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian, Commander K-9, Daffy Duck and Sylvester the Cat. Each sneaker tells a story, based on the personalities of the characters of the Looney Tunes franchise and how they interact with one another. You have Sylvester the Cat seeing Tweety as a meal and the bird slyly evading its predator. Then there’s Marvin the Martian, who although is a more quiet character, has the aspirations of taking down planet Earth. Lastly, Bugs and Daffy can’t seem to put aside their troubles with one another—both fighting for our attention. These figures and their wild antics are captured on the soft canvas uppers, making comedic high and low tops for customers of all ages. And the colors of the sneakers are as vivid as the Looney Tunes can get.
The unisex kicks are priced from $35 to $65—depending on age, with the lowest price for toddlers and the highest for adult sizes. Although the Looney Tunes Chuck Taylors for kids appear on Nike Converse, this collaborative pack for older ages can only be purchased through Journeys.
