DMX just had to cancel several shows because of an “unexpected medical issue.” TMZ broke the news stating that he cancelled a show on Tuesday in Santa Ana, CA. A Wednesday night show in Los Angeles tonight and a Thursday show in San Diego were also postponed.

There’s fear that DMX may have relapsed as he has battled alcohol and drug addiction in the past. Fans also posted on social media that X seemed out of it during his performance this past weekend at Barclay’s Center for the Ruff Ryders 20th Anniversary Concert in New York which also featured Swizz Beatz, The LOX, Eve, Cassidy and Drag-On.

We hope and pray The Dog gets well soon as fans still await to hear him tear down the stages.

DMX and The LOX have also been tapped to spit bars and headline 13th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival which will be held from July 10-16 with the finale concert being held on July 15.

The festival will also feature a showcase starring J. Cole’s Dreamville label featuring Bas, Cozz and Omen on July 14.

On July 10, Rakim will also take part in the Told It First Hand series and sit down with Wes Jackson, founder of the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, to discuss his legacy in rap.
