For many of us, the Fourth of July is filled with family, fun, fireworks and good food. But before the celebration kicks off, Donnell Rawlings shared with TMZ some cautionary advice for people of color.
“White people don’t blow their fingers up. Black people are always blowing their fingers up,” he told reporters on Saturday night (July 1) after he left The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. “Keep your hands in your pockets and don’t light fireworks, because you will blow your mother fucking fingers up.”
“And you don’t want to be the dude out there that’s doing gang signs with no fucking finger,” he continued while holding up his index and pinkey finger. “This is the original gang sign, started with a mother fucker blew their fingers up on Fourth of July.”
The comedian went on to say that white people never blow their fingers up because they want sparklers, but “black people want dynamite. They want napalm. They want shit that go ‘bow.'”

He also voiced his opinion on JAY-Z and Beyonce naming their twins Rumi and Sir.
“When you have a certain amount of money, you can name your kids after anything,” he said. “JAY-Z and Beyonce have enough money he could have named his kids ‘Hot Sauce’ and ‘Fried Chicken.’ And people will be like ‘oh my God, that’s the fucking dopest shit I ever saw.’
