Baka has been mentioned in the rhymes of Drake for a while now, but it looks like now he’s an official signee.

At a recent event, Drizzy announced Baka as the newest member of his talented OVO roster, handing him a pen to sign the paperwork in front of what appears to be dozens of people.

“It’s an honor and a pleasure,” Drake said. “I just want to give this pen to my brother. I love you, G. Trust me. You’ve been holding it down for a long time.”

Drake fans know Baka Not Nice from various Drizzy song references. On “Know Yourself,” Drake spit: “I might declare it a holiday as soon as Baka get back on the road.” He also added Baka references on “No Long Talk” and OB O’Brien’s “Schemin’ Up,” staying true to his word, the 6 God made sure to celebrate his friend who also made an appearance as his hype man at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

“When [he] got out of jail, there’s a lot of different paths that he could have took, he decided to focus on music.”
