Diddy Talks Bad Boy Legacy, Upcoming Film and More with Zane Lowe [Watch]

Diddy recently sat down with Beat’s 1 Zane Lowe to discuss Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story. The documentary, that’s now available exclusively on Apple Music, examines the iconic record label’s rise in the 90’s and challenges they faced at the 20th-anniversary reunion tour.

The sit-down interview gave fans an intimate look into the life of Sean “Diddy” Combs. Diddy speaks candidly about his health, happiness, and thoughts on success while also shedding light on the early days of Bad Bay, its sound, and some of his inspirations.

“I don’t go approach the record industry like the money. I approach it about the song and how is this song and this artist going to be different and so ahead of anything that’s out there now?”

Diddy also took a moment to reflect on the future of the music industry. “To be honest, it’s going to be even bigger,” he said. “With the streaming, right now with the accessibility, the appetite for music, the appetite for hip-hop is at an all-time high. The sky’s the limit.”

It definitely is refreshing to hear Diddy speak so openly about his experiences in the music as well as his personal triumphs and challenges. Check out the full interview below.
