Four People Shot at Meek Mill Concert

Two people have been pronounced dead and two others wounded after a Meek Mill concert ended in gunfire last night in Wallingford, Conn. The Philly rapper was performing at the Oakdale Theater hen shots rang out around 11 p.m., MyRecordJournal reports. No arrests have yet to be made in the shooting.

The Maybach Music Group artist doesn’t believe reports, however. He took to social media to call it all a hoax.

“They really trying to slow these bags up, right,” he says. “Looking at this shit about two people died, two people got shot. A lie. Somebody hating, trying to slow these bags up, cuz we scooping up 250s.”

In a video obtained by the TheShadeRoom, though, Meek is identified by the camera phone holder as being with an entourage of people exiting the venue. Within seconds, a gunshot is heard, sending people running.

In other news, the Philly rapper will headline a New Year’s Eve party at Dream Nightclub on South Beach in Miami and perform  for $200-thousand, according to TMZ. He also negotiated an extra $20-thousand to cover expenses. He and bis crew will also get to sip on 10 bottles of Ace of Spades, 5 bottles of Moet Nectar Rosé and some Hennessy and tequila as well.

Varsity Lifestyle Group is throwing the New Year’s celebration and tickets to ring in the new year with the rapper are $60 for ladies, $109 for the fellas, with VIP packages ranging from around $4k to $10k. It’s scheduled to rage ’til 5 AM.
