Social media had a firestorm of accusations, assumptions and allegations after a picture surfaced online of T.I. on the red carpet at a Super Bowl party last night (Feb. 3). While the name of the woman with Tip was not given, the Instagram account @elogroupllc captions the post: “Director of NFL Marketing at the NFL Network before his peformance at the #NFLMedia party.”
Captions for the photo at Instagram account @entertainmentforbreakfast say the woman is simply “a friend.”
However, social media users see it differently, speculating that Tip has moved on from Tiny…and with good reason. At the height of public scrutiny, the Atlanta rapper posted a pic on Instagram wearing the same outfit with caption reading, “Damn…Now where did I put that Fu*k I had to give? #Spillinit💦”
Tiny and T.I.’s marriage came under question back in 2014, during the last set of rumors that T.I. was cheating with a famous Instagram model. That was also around the same time that Tiny was said to be getting close with boxer Floyd Mayweather. T.I. and Mayweather’s camps almost came to blows in Las Vegas.
The plot thickened after a picture surfaced online of Tiny standing beside Tip’s arch nemesis Floyd Mayweather during a Halloween party last November. When the picture was first shared last month on social media, Tiny took to her Instagram to explain that the picture was taken as she was leaving the party and that was just one of many photos taken that night.
Shortly after, however, a clip shared by The Shade Room showing the two gyrating each other in a provocative manner.
Then in December, TMZ reported Tiny filed documents for divorce to end her six-year marriage with Clifford Harris. The legal documents were first posted on TheDirty.com and show that Tiny filed on Dec. 7 and is not only seeking a divorce but wants the entire marriage annulled.
Most recently, TMZ posted a 30-second video of Tiny extending an olive branch to her estranged husband. In the video, there seems to be someone in the background asking why she doesn’t go back to Tip. She replies with a grin, “Why don’t I go back to T.I.? He needs to come back to me, baby! He needs to come on back to me. I’m where I’m ‘posed to be at.”
But the Rubberband Man remains tight lipped about the situation and he made it perfectly clear that his relationship with wife Tiny was not up for discussion when he appeared on Atlanta radio station Streets 94.5.
He shut the conversation down cold in its tracks when hosts Yung Joc and Mo Quick brought it up in an interview Monday morning.
“I don’t want to see you and Tiny split, man,” Joc told Tip.
“That ain’t your business, man,” Mr. Harris quickly straightened him out.
“You right, it ain’t,” Joc replied. “But we on the air right now; people want to know.”
“I know we on air,” Mr. Harris came back, “and I’m telling you on air that it ain’t your business.”
