J. Cole continues to show how great America is with his latest video “Neighbors” which includes actual footage of his North Carolina home which also dubs as his studio The Sheltuh, being raided by the SWAT team who were wrongly informed by his neighbors that the chill spot served as a dope house.

J. Cole previously released his documentary 4 Your Eyez Only on HBO and the film also included footage of the raid.

“Neighbors”only includes Cole’s first verse from the track but the story is all to real as he spits about white people thinking their Black neighbors must be selling drugs in order to live in the same neighborhood as them.

The Dreamville leader spits.

“My sixteen should’ve came with a coffin/ F%ck the fame and the fortune/ Well, maybe not the fortune/ But one thing is for sure though/ The fame is exhausting/ That’s why I moved away, I needed privacy/ Surrounded by the trees and Ivy League students that’s recruited highly/ Thinking, ‘You do you and I do me’/ Crib has got a big ‘ol back ‘ol yard/ My ni##as stand outside and pass cigars/ Filled with marijuana, laughing hard/ Thankful that they friend’s a platinum star/ In the driveway there’s no rapper cars/ Just some shit to get from back and forth.”
