Kanye West is officially in the jewelry business.
According to published reports, Yeezy has launched a series of gold chains and rings made in collaboration with Jacob the Jeweler’s Jacob Arabo after making an announcement about the plans last September. Kanye West revealed his plan to release a jewelry line and fans were unknowningly seeing pieces being modeled wife Kim Kardashian-West at Yeezy Season 4 and at the MTV VMAs last year.
Two months later she took an entirely different tack, amping up the boudoir glamour of a white lace slip and Givenchy robe dress with four layered chains that dripped down the front
During an interview with Vogue, West revealed that the 12-piece collection draws its inspiration from 14th-century Florentine art consists of four gold thick-band rings and eight medallion-style pendant necklaces. West also said that his style choices came from being influenced by “classical romance.”
“I wanted to create something that represented timeless love,” West said.
The YEEZY jewelry collection is now available for purchase at yeezysupply.com and Jacob & Co., the necklaces range from $13,360 to $4,810 and the rings go from $9,610 to $1,530.
