Multifaceted entertainer Keke Palmer has returned with a hot new single for Summer 2017.

“Wind Up” comes off the heels of Keke’s wildly successful visual EP Lauren Keke describes this song as a “turn up and full circle moment” back to when she first started recording music. “It’s a great thing to tell my story through music and a greater to see how my energy and craft has evolved,” says Keke.

“Wind Up” features Quavo of Migos and is produced by Sean Garrett as Keke Palmer delivers fierce lyrics over a sun-soaked island beat.

Flexing on the mic, she spits her come-up with,

“I don’t pull up, Uber came to get me/ Flash bulbs everywhere, paparazzi sic me/ I guess I owe everythin’ home to my viddy/ Pardon me if my eyes kinda low, I can’t see ya/ So tell ’em stop bitching, and motherfucker listen/ Since 9 years old, I been in the kitchen/ Family gotta eat (eat), that mean I gotta get that cake/ And I ain’t sittin’ down for no nigga, feel me.”

Leaving hatters in the rear, she adds,

All the way to California in the caravan/ It was me and my mama, my motherfuckin’ fam/ From the gutter, gutter/ So you mad ’cause I came up, came up, bitches.”
