Kendrick Lamar Drops New Single “The Heart Part 4” [Listen Now]

Kendrick Lamar just unveiled some new fire called “The Heart Part 4” and builds up more speculation that he’s about to drop a new album.

As previously reported, the Compton MC revealed a message on his Instagram with the Roman numerals IV which could possibly mean Kendrick Lamar’s fourth album and this could possibly be the artwork and title as well.

The song also caused more talk as people have been stating that he threw a few shots on the record and could possibly be going at Drake or Big Sean. On the song, Kendrick raps,

“My fans can’t wait for me to son your punk ass and crush your whole lil shit / I’ll Big Pun your punk ass, you a scared lil bitch/ Tip-toeing around my name, nigga ya lame / And when I get at you, homie, don’t you tell me you was just playin.”

On the Terrace Martin produced track, Kendrick also spits,

“Hoe, Jay Z Hall of Fame, sit ya punk ass down.”

These lines in particular have fueled the guessing game and if he’s going at Aubrey or Sean,

As the track rides out, Kendrick also declares,

“My name is identified as “that king”/ I’ll let y’all worry about a list, I’m on some other shit/ A difference between accomplishments and astonishments/ You know what time it is, ante up, this is in forever/ Y’all got till April the 7th to get ya’ll shit together.”

The April 7 date also has folks wondering if that’s when he’ll be dropping his new album.
