Kevin Ross Drops Debut Album ‘The Awakening’ and New Video “Pick You Up” [Watch Now]

Motown Recording artist Kevin Ross’ debut album, The Awakening, was released today (March 24) and is fueled by the R&B hit single and Billboard chart topper “Long Song Away.”

The Awakening also includes Ross’ 2016 collaboration with Chaz French, “Be Great (Intro),” which was heard in Grey’s Anatomy, and a remix of the track that features BJ the Chicago Kid.

Ross also just released the video for the powerful, doo-wop inspired “Pick You Up,” where Ross gives a pep talk to himself, mindful that he must keep his eyes on the prize in order to overcome the obstacles in his path.

In the official video for “Pick You Up,” he addresses a broken mirror – a reminder of a time when he felt broken and alone in life. Writing the song lifted his spirits and now he hopes it will encourage and motivate others.
