Motown recording artist Kevin Ross comes through with a brand new music video.
“Don’t Go” is the second single from his debut album, The Awakening, that was released in March of this year. The clip features Ross with his super sensual voice serenading a female model in a colorful setting. Since the record’s release, “Don’t Go” quickly became a favorite among R&B fans and is currently sitting at No. 16 on Billboard’s Adult R&B charts. On top of dropping a brand new video, Ross took to his social media to hint that fans can expect new music coming soon from the R&B/Soul singer.
“Don’t Go” follows the success of Kevin’s first single, “Long Song Away”, that reached No. 1 on Billboard and Urban Adult radio charts and made him the first Motown debut artist since 2010 to reach No. 1 in the format. In addition to his classic crooner vocal ability, the DMV native has seen massive success as a songwriter prior to his Motown debut. He’s written hits for platinum recording artists such as Trey Songz, Jaime Foxx, Johnny Gill, and SWV. Most notably, Ross co-wrote Trey Songz’ smash singles “Touchin’, Lovin” featuring Nicki Minaj and “What’s Best For You” from Songz’ Trigga album.
