Kodak Black is back with another freestyle fresh out prison. “Just a Wrap Freestyle” is produced by frequent collaborator, Southside. The song shows Black rapping seemingly without any kind of structure and there isn’t any hook to the record. After getting out of prison in June, Black dropped “First Day Out” accompanied with a visual. Then he followed that up with another track, “My Cousin,” honoring a family member that had been shot.

Outside of his music, Kodak Black made headlines in regards to his comments made about black women and colorism. Amber Rose recently weighed in on Blacks remarks. “Smh this really makes me so sad,” she said. “Being a ‘yellowbone’ mixed light-skinned woman I know unfortunately that Modeling jobs, boys and opportunities came to me easier but did not realize that until I got older. Growing up in Philly I went to an all black school. I was the ‘white girl’ The one that the boys DIDN’T like, The girl that wasn’t as cool as the brown skinned girls. Black was the thing to be!”

Dating preferences aside, the former XXL Freshman Class cover artists is continuing to put out the message that his fans enjoy. Take a listen to “Just a Wrap Freestyle” below.
