Mary J. Blige & Ex Husband Due In Court For Failure to Pay $60K in Rent

Singer Mary J. Blige and her ex-husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs were recently served papers and are due in court next month, according to Bossip.

The celebrity gossip site reports the couple is accused of  failing to pay nearly $60,000 in back rent and fees, damaging a $7.5 million dollar mansion located in Mulholland Estates, Beverly Hills and taking thousands in audiovisual equipment. The motion regarded that Blige and Isaacs were living in the six-bedroom eight-bathroom house and agreed to pay $25,500 monthly in rent.

According to reports, the landlord alleges the couple stopped paying rent after three months. Additionally, the landlord claims the couple agreed to move before their break up and requested for the $50K deposit to be applied in back rent but never paid the additional money owed.
