No Malice Returns to Hip-Hop with Faith, Truth, and “Fake News”

No Malice, the eldest of the infamous Thornton brothers out of Hampton Roads, Virginia, releases a taste of what we can expect from his long-awaited album, Let the Dead Bury the Dead. “Fake News” gives fans that classic “Malice” flow but instead of “coke raps”, No Malice touches on his faith and the truth about the music industry.

If you have seen No Malice’s eye-opening documentary End of Malice, then you know that No Malice has put the street raps behind him and has chosen to put his faith in the forefront of his life and his career.

In May, No Malice took to Twitter to clear up any confusion on the concept of his new album.

“I believe it was my brother Bizzle who coined the phrase ‘truth music’ and I believe that might apply to this,” he said. “I personally feel like y’all should already know what it is I do. But, if you don’t, I have no problem walking you through it.”

In addition to dropping the single, No Malice has also commissioned his Play Cloths line to release limited edition fake news tees, which he showcased via Twitter.

Let the Dead Bury the Dead is expected to arrive in late 2017. Listen to “Fake News” below and grab it on iTunes.
