One Dead, Four Injured in Shooting at C-Bo Video Shoot

One person wound up dead and four others injured after shots rang out during the filming of a C-Bo music video at South Sacramento’s Meadowview Park on Sunday afternoon (August 27)

According to Fox 40, police learned of the shooting just before 2:45 p.m. When officers arrived, they found found one person suffering from a gunshot wound and later found out that people in the park had taken them to the hospital. Those four were listed as being in “stable condition,” while 49-year-old Ernie Cadena was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police believe the gathering in the park was for C-Bo’s music video. The West coast rapper posted on his Instagram a video of his song “Rep My City.” In the caption, he wrote: Video shoot tomorrow 12 noon let’s go sactown OGs will be out side. Basket ball dunking contest come correct 2 pair clothing this will be a 2 videos in one day shoot.
