Rich the Kid Released from Hospital After Robbery, Home Invasion

LAPD confirmed to TMZ that they are investigating a home invasion robbery where Rich the Kid was attacked and robbed at gunpoint on Thursday night (June 14),  landing him in the hospital. He walked out of a hospital early Sunday morning (June 17) and shared a photo of himself via Instagram, showing his arm in a sling and a busted lip.

“I Thank you God we still here,” he wrote as the caption. “Thank you all for all your prayers being in this game you gotta know what comes with it watch for the fakes & snakes the more money the more hate.”

According to reports, Rich was at his girlfriend Tori Brixx’s home “when two masked men entered demanding cash and jewelry.” According to TMZ, The Rich Forever frontman tried to fight off the assailants when three more men came into the home holding firearms.

The men reportedly beat Rich and got fled the scene with “a significant amount of cash and jewelry.”

Early Friday morning, a photo was posted to Rich’s Instagram page with the rapper laying in a hospital bed with his eyes closed and wearing a neck brace.

The news of the robbery Rich’s hospitalization came shortly after he made a post marking his eight platinum plaques this year for hits including “Plug Walk” and “New Freezer” off his debut studio album The World Is Yours.

Shortly after the incident, The Game offered some words of advice for Rich, “Rich the Kid needs to call me, bro,” Game advises. “Call Game. All that shit will disappear.”
