In midst of all her fashion collaborations, Rihanna’s been hinting at her upcoming beauty line on social media with red carpet portraits tagging Fenty Beauty. Seeing all of her looks made possible the line’s lipstick, eyeshadow, highlighter and more had us saying, “We found love.” And no amount of Bad Gal Riri puns could soothe the wait until day we too could look that glamourous. Rih finally gave us a less vague premiere date that “Fall 2017” and exactly what stores to camp out to ensure we get our beauty fix. Yassssss Robyn!
Even though she’s worked with MAC Cosmetics in the past, Rih kept her efforts towards her own beauty line hush for the last few years. In 2016, WWD revealed her deal LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s Kendo division—the same group responsible for Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty. And alas, the fruits of her labor will be here quite soon.
*drum roll* Fenty Beauty by Rihanna will be released on Sept. 8. Although fans can register for the Fenty Beauty newsletter at its website , it looks like products are only available for purchase through Sephora and department store Harvey Nichols. The “Wild Thoughts” singer dropped the news of the global release via Instagram, which Fenty Beauty and Sephora later reposted. “@FentyBeauty is coming!!!!” she wrote. “Countdown to September. 8. 2017 starts now.” So there you have it. Fenty Beauty comes out in a month and we can all soak in the bliss.
