Rihanna brings three new colorways to her popular fur slides with Puma.
With a past working together, the singer’s collaboration making collections with the German brand—one of several style endeavors on her plate at the moment—opened at New York Fashion Week in early 2016. Following a successful RTW debut, Rihanna’s efforts for Puma gained more traction as Fenty x Puma supplies sold out fast. That included fur slides appearing in pink, black, white and later gray. She continued showcasing her work at Paris Fashion Week with her first spring/summer collection for the brand. And designs went pastel with pinks, greens, and purples.
Her SS17 collection also broadened the collab’s range of slides. Although this season brought ones now strapped with jelly and satin, the demand for more fur slides was unwavering. Puma and Rih announced the return of famous footwear with new colorways to match summer vibes.
Fenty x Puma slides will now be available in “Bay,” “Cool Blue” and Orchid Bloom,” reports Footwear News. The trendy color selection is perfect to complete any summer outfit—say for a night at the movies (Valerian next week anyone?) Shoes go on sale on July 13 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased on the Puma website for $80.
