Soulja Boy Apologizes for Erratic Behavior, “I’ve Been Acting Out, I’ve Been Wilding Out” [Watch]

Soulja Boy has been taking a lot of Ls in the public eye lately. Over the past few months, Soulja Boy has beefed with everyone from Lil’ Yachty to Quavo and Chris Brown all before getting into a scuffle on Instagram Live yesterday, but it seems the incident changed his perspective.

Wednesday (Jan. 4), Soulja Boy took to his newly created Instagram account to apologize for his behavior as well as call a “truce” with the artists he’s called out, while revealing that his mother has been ill.

“This video right here is for Team Soulja and all of my fans. I just want to send an apology,” Soulja said. “Over the past couple of months, I’ve been acting out, I’ve been wilding out. And at the end of the day, it’s not about who start the beefs, it’s about who end them.”

Without going into much detail, Soulja revealed that his mother being hospitalized, although not serious, provided a different perspective on how he should carry himself going forward.

“So with that being said, I found out that my mom’s in the hospital. The doctors told me everything should be alright, she should be good, but no amount of money, no amount of cars, no amount of fame will make me be alright knowing my mom is sick or anything happening to my momma.”

After expressing that his mother is among those who probably aren’t happy with the 26-year-old’s actions, Soulja then turned heads by saying he’s ready to do songs with the aforementioned Brown, Quavo, and Yachty while lastly stating to media that he’s “back to the music.”

“I want to make music with Quavo, Chris Brown and everybody, so to all my friends, blogs and fans that feel I’m on some hot boy shit, I sincerely apologize.”
