Hot Boy Turk Weighs In On Rick Ross’ Birdman Diss: “I Believe You Need To Just Stay Out Of It” [Audio]

Rick Ross’ recent attack Brian “Birdman” Williams with his track “Idols Become Rivals” off his newly released album Rather You Than Me has had the media and industry buzzing as Rozay made it clear that he wasn’t feeling the accusations of the Cash Money Records CEO jerking his artist.

Well now former Cash Money artist Turk has weighed in on the situation as he was one of the artists Ross mentioned that Birdman had screwed over. Speaking in a candid interview with Juan Hustle on Louisville Kentucky radio station B96.5, Hot Boy Turk said,

“I heard the track and everybody got their opinion about certain things and my whole thing with the situation is me and Bird sat down like men and discussed our situation and we handled it and worked it out like that. I think when you not in the inside and you don’t know what’s really going on, I believe you need to just stay out of it, stay out of other people’s business, ya dig.”

On the track, Ross also spits, “Knew that you would never visit B.G./ Turk came home, take that boy a three piece.”

The New Orleans MC who was also suing Birdman before they resolved their differences, discussed that line too, stating,

“Yeah I heard all that but like I say, grown men handle their business on they own. No man can speak for me, period. I spoke for myself. My lawyers couldn’t speak for me, I spoke for myself. I went face-to-face with Birdman and me and him sat down and we got a respect for each other and that’s where I stand with him. I got respect for all my brothers and that’s what it is with me.

Everybody that’s on the outside don’t know how it really is and at the same time, this whole industry they all point fingers but at the end of the day everybody do shady business sometimes and sometimes you don’t know you doing shady business. And I feel like you can’t point your finger at nobody if you made mistakes in your life as well, ya dig.”

Turk concluded his mind your own business stance with,

“You hear a lot of things in the media but I stay away from the media man. They don’t want us to come together and work things out.  So me being a man that’s been on both sides of the field, from prison to the streets to the industry, all three sides…I just sit back and let things play out. And one thing about it,  family fall out and family get back together and the people that speak about certain situations they put theyself on a bad taste in a nigga mouth.”

Turk kept it 100 during the interview and also revealed that he speaks with B.G.’s mom all the time and that “he’ll be home any day now.” B.G. was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison in 2012 for gun possession and witness tampering.

Since his return home in 2012 after serving  nearly nine years in the federal prison as well after  a shootout with police in 2004, Turk has been grinding heavy on the independent circuit and dropped several mixtape projects through hid label YnT (Young n Thuggin).

He also reunited with Mannie Fresh, Juvenile and Lil Wayne during a party/performance hosted by Lebron James during NBA All-Star Weekend and just released the new track “Hold Up Lebron.”
