Twitter Users Theorize DJ Khaled’s “They” Is Birdman

For years, DJ Khaled has spoken about an unnamed “they” in his music. And while he has never named specific persons in his accusations to the haters, Twitter users are now speculating that “they” is a reference to Birdman after the release of Rick Ross’ “Idols Become Rivals” from his new album Rather You Than Me.

Added to that, in Khaled’s book The Keys,  the platinum record spinner wrote:

“BACK IN THE DAY I USED TO JUST CALL “THEY” HATERS, BUT I REALIZED AFTER A WHILE THAT I HAD TO CHANGE THAT WORD OUT OF NECESSITY. “THEY” ARE SNEAKIER THAN THAT—“THEY” TAKE ALL FORMS. FOR SOME IT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY APPARENT THAT THERE’S HATE IN THEIR HEARTS, BUT OTHERS HAVE A DISGUISE.”

Khaled’s We The Best Music label was once a subsidiary of Cash Money, but he left CMR in 2015. And now Twitter theorists are convinced that “they” are synonymous with Birdman. See tweets below.
