Tyler, The Creator Drops New Track “Boredom”

Last night (July 11), Tyler, The Creator hit up YouTube and blessed fans with a spanking new track called “Boredom.” Listen below.

The song is scheduled to appear on his upcoming fourth studio album Scum Fuck Flower Boy, scheduled to drop July 21. Two other tracks, “Who Dat Boy” and “911 / Mr. Lonely,” have been previously released from the album.

As previously reported, the Odd Future member partnered with Nike Converse for his special One Stars kicks to hit stores tomorrow (July 13), and supplies are limited.

Converse introduced the collab with a video framed exactly how you’d expect a Tyler, the Creator announcement to go. He’s asked. “How would you describe your relationship with Converse?” And followed by a montage of wild antics creative ways to test the durability of sneakers, he replies “I don’t recall.”

A majority of his ventures into fashion have been colorful and whimsical. His go-to seems to achieve a striking contrast. And although the rapper is swapping Vans for Converses, he still brings the same vibrant makeup from the personality and taste conveyed in past sneakers. Tyler revealed on Twitter that the inspiration for the Converse collab comes from the picks for the Flower Boy album cover.

So far, Converse One Star x Tyler, the Creator comes in a Clearwater/White scheme of orange laces, light blue suede, and a white sole and star. The insole’s graphics are full of bright, yellow sunflowers. However, the promo video features more sneakers. Tyler referenced one sneaker with white laces and a light blue suede upper on Twitter as a favorite.

The limited-edition unisex One Star goes for $100.
