Blac Youngsta turned himself into authorities on May 16 as part of the investigation over a shooting targeting rapper Young Dolph. As previously reported, warrants for the CMG rapper’s arrest were issued for Blac Youngsta, 23-year-old Frederick Black and 20-year-old Antavius Gardner in Charlotte, NC which led to the surrender.

The shooting, which took place in late February of this year, led to as many as 100 shots being fired at Young Dolph’s bullet proof SUV while he was on his way to a concert. No injuries were sustained during the shooting, according to local reports from the scene, and Dolph later performed at the Cameo Charlotte nightclub that evening.

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department told FOX13 that multiple apartment units and vehicles were struck in the shooting.

Well now the story gets thicker as the Memphis rapper’s attorney has revealed that the van used in the drive-by was rented by Youngsta but was stolen prior to the shooting.

Blac Youngsta, whose real name is Sammie Marquez Benson, and his friends were charged with six counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property and one count of felony conspiracy.

According to a statement provided to XXLa rep for Blac Youngsta said, “Memphis-based rap artist Blac Youngsta has turned himself in on charges filed in Charlotte, N.C. The warrants served were based on lyrics from rapper Young Dolph’s Bulletproof mixtape. Youngsta will await arraignment while he maintains innocence and no involvement with the incident.”

Footage was captured as Blac Youngsta turned himself in where he proclaimed his innocence and stated, “I ain’t fire nothing,” before being prompted to say, “I don’t know nothing. I didn’t see nothing, I didn’t do nothing.”

He then seems to begin to say, the van was stolen before changing his words to, “Somebody ratting, somebody snitching.”

Hopefully his lawyer will also tell him to keep his mouth shut too as the CMG rapper seems to say a little more than he needs to. Peep the entire news clip for yourself below.
