Having few details on The Weeknd’s Puma signature was agonizing. But with the recent series of somewhat revealing social media posts the rapper made, fans’ minds are hardly calm. The Starboy artist finally announced the date for his sneaker with Puma.
The rapper just finished off the European dates of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall World Tour in Paris. While in concert, Abel Tesfaye got the crowd hype in a pair of all-white high-top sneakers. Later calling the shoes “Parallels” on Instagram, The Weekend wrote a message to alleviate the anticipation of his Puma release. “To my fans: The ‘Parallels’ are finally dropping August 24th. PUMAXO.”
Now, The Weeknd has been appearing in Puma ads for a little bit now. But this will be his first signature shoe with the brand. And with the numerous pics of him on tour in his sneakers and the animal puma, we can tell he’s quite excited about it. Possibly even more excited are the millions of fans waiting the Parallels release next month.
