Rihanna Rih-caps Her Most ‘Iconic Looks’ on New Collection For Stance

Every look Rihanna has had stepping out of her front door is a look to Rih-member. Yet the hitmaker had the grueling task of narrowing down only four outfits to honor for the latest Fenty For Stance sock collection. In a series of four pairs, the Bajan singer highlights her fashion associated with her as both a recording artist and fashion icon. Stance separated the Iconic Looks Collection into two parts: music videos and award ceremonies.

The Rihanna Music Video Box recounts two of the spiciest visuals she’s ever produced. The first pays tribute to the Valerian actress’ attire atop of her “Pour It Up” throne in 2013. In a bedazzled bra top, red panties and sexy denim cutouts, a blonde-wigged Rihanna lit up lyrics like “Strippers goin’ up and down that pole/And I still got my money,” and “Four o’clock and we ain’t going home/Cause I still got my money.”

She matched her own twerking with that of dancers around her in money rain as an ode to strip club culture. The second sock denotes a more recent party necessity, “Work” featuring Drake. As it climbed the charts, the single connected fans with her upbringing in Barbados and its motifs circled back to her first ever release in 2005. “Pon De Replay.” Part I of “Work” came a uniform of green sheen lipstick, a black bob and a red, yellow, green and black striped mesh dress with a similarly patterned bikini top underneath.

The Rihanna Award Show Box contains memorable moments from red carpets. The first recreates the time Riri wore a hooded “naked” dress to the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards. The singer’s body was embellished In thousands of Swarovski crystals—yet the fabric remained sheer. She paired it off with a fur shawl. The other socks features her yellow Met Gala gown with a long train, that the Internet later turned into memes.

In 2015, Guo Pei dressed the star to commemorate the theme “China: Through the Looking Glass.” Unlike most of other attendees, Rihanna wore a gown created by a Chinese designer, that reflected on traditions. It’s mustard satin fabric was embroidered with flowers and line with fur, with a headpiece to match.

Each set of two pairs goes for $48 and can be purchased here.
