2 Chainz revisits 2016 and unveils the new video “Good Drank” off his Hibachi for Lunch project. The Hair Weave Killer connected with his A-Town homies Gucci Mane and the Migos’ Quavo and spit that trap talk over this Mike Dean production.
Taking it back to the prohibition era, 2 Chainz, Quavo and Gucci get their Harlem Nights style on as they push lean throughout the country in this Howard Ross directed clip.
In related news, Tity Boi announced the official release date for his upcoming project, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. 2 Chainz took to his Instagram on Sunday (Jan. 15), to reveal that his upcoming project would be coming out on April 7.
PGLTM will be 2 Chainz’s first solo LP in four years, since his 2013 release B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, which housed the chart-heavy tracks “Feds Watching” featuring Pharrell and “Used To” produced by Mannie Fresh.
2016 was a huge year for 2 Chainz fans. The ATL-bred MC dropped a few projects, including the highly successful collaboration project with Lil Wayne, ColleGrove, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard charts. He also put out three well-received mixtapes Felt Like Cappin,’ Daniel Son; Necklace Don and Hibachi for Lunch.
Tity Boi also revealed on Instagram Friday that he turned down an invitation to perform at the inauguration of President-elect Donald. He explained, “They can’t get nobody else. I had to say ‘nah,’ no matter how much money it was. I probably won’t be going to the White House no time soon.”
