The 1996 BMW that Tupac Shakur was gunned down in is now on the auction block. The bid for the infamous whip is starting at $1.5 million.

The legendary MC was riding shotgun with his Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight on the Las Vegas strip on September 7, 1996 when the car was sprayed with bullets. While Knight survived with minimal injuries, Tupac died six days later after being hit four times.

The whip has had several owners since Pac was shot in it but has since been restored but bullet holes inside the door panel still remain. The car was originally auctioned off by the Las Vegas Police Department after being impounded following the late MC’s murder.
