Boosie Says That Jay-Z Won’t Stop Him From Holding Stacks of Money to His Ear

Boosie

What is a fun thing to do with a big fat stack of money? According to some rappers and their Instagram, it’s holding it to your ear imitating a telephone. On Jay-Z‘s new album, 4:44, he had something to say about rappers who participate in this act. On the song titled “The Story of O.J.” from 4:44, Jay-Z raps, “Y’all out here still takin’ advances, huh?/Me and my niggas taking real chances, uh/Y’all on the ’Gram holdin’ money to your ear/There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.”

Louisiana rapper, Boosie wasn’t in agreement with Jay-Z’s lyrics. He took to Instagram Live to tell his followers what he thought.

“In Louisiana, Jay-Z’s words don’t fly,” Boosie rants in one part of the video. “If you’re trying to get JAY-Z money, you shouldn’t put stacks to your ear. Jay-Z don’t tell me what to do. I don’t know about ya but he doesn’t tell me what to do.” Boosie also goes on to say, “I got love for Jay-Z, but y’all telling me I shouldn’t put stacks in my ear if JAY-Z says it. These Louisiana niggas don’t rock like that,” Boosie continues with his rant at another part of the video as he holds a big stack of money. “If JAY-Z tell you jump off the Eiffel Tower, you going to jump. Jay-Z don’t run the South! I’m still holding money to my ear.”
