Chris Brown Slams Donald Trump for Comments About How Cops Should Handle Thugs

“When you see these thugs thrown into the back of a paddy wagon. You see them thrown in, rough. I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice,’” Donald Trump said during his speech with New York law enforcement officers.

“Like when you guys put those guys in the car and you are protecting their head. The way you put their hand on their head. I said,’you can take the hand away, okay,” he added, as the crowd erupts into cheers.

While the sea of uniformed police officers saw no problem with the President of the United States advocating violence against American citizens, Chris Brown wasn’t feeling it at all. And he took to Instagram to share his resentment. The R&B singer shared a snippet of Trump’s speech with the caption: “WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?????! HE GIVING POLICE MORE RIGHT TO FUCK UP YOUNG BLACK MEN!! SHIT IS CRAZZY!!! this is not how u make peace or any kind of help. Please wake up people!”

Brown was not alone in disagreeing with the POTUS. New York City Police Department Commissioner James P. O’Neill issued a statement on Saturday (July 29) which contradicts Trump’s stance, USA Today reports. “To suggest that police officers apply any standard in the use of force other than what is reasonable and necessary is irresponsible, unprofessional and sends the wrong message to law enforcement as well as the public,” he said.
