Jim Jones Tease New Music in the Studio with Migos

Only a few days after Jim Jones became the newest signee to Roc Nation, the Dipset Capo is already in the studio laying down heat. Early this morning (Feb. 10), he posted a preview of an upcoming collaboration with Migos to Instagram. “Right to work #Vl4L comin soon,” Jones captioned, showing in the video that he was in the studio with Quavo, Takeoff of Migos and Juelz Santana.

Earlier this week, Roc Nation’s Vic Medina posted a flick of Jimmy on Instagram signing to the team, writing,

“It’s a done deal… Jim Jones/Roc Nation.”

The Harlem rapper also hit up IG with celebratory poses of a bottle of D’usse next to a bottle of Ace of Spades and Roc Nation stationary next to him. Roc Nation will handle Jim’s music, fashion, acting and other business ventures.

The move shocked many as it’s no secret that Jim Jones and the Diplomats were part of the tension that split up Dame Dash and Jay Z and shaking Roc-A-Fella Records to the ground. Several disses from both sides have been released over the years and a few scuffles between the entourages have also occurred.

Jay Z has been making some powerful business moves with several of his former rivals as The LOX and Fat Joe have also enlisted Roc Nation’s management services.
