Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Surrogate Is Reportedly Three Months Pregnant

After undergoing two pregnancies plagued by placenta accreta, a potentially life-threatening condition, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian aren’t taking any chances with baby number three. So back in June, according to US Weekly, they began looking for surrogate. And now, the late-20-something San Diego mother to be is three months pregnant.

According to TMZ, the surrogate comes with a pretty hefty price tag. After shelling out a $68,850 deposit with the agency, the couple is required to pay $45,000 in 10 monthly installments of $4,500. If there are multiple children, the surrogate gets $5,000 for each additional kid. If the surrogate loses reproductive organs, she gets $4,000.

Added to that, the surrogate is not allowed to smoke, drink or use drugs during the pregnancy. She must also restrict sexual activities in the weeks leading up to the pregnancy, including foregoing sexual intercourse for three weeks following embryo implantation.

The surrogate cannot go in hot tubs or saunas, cannot handle or change cat litter, apply hair dye, drink more than one caffeinated beverage per day or eat raw fish.

The agreement provides that Kim and Kanye “assume the legal and parental responsibilities for any child that may possess any congenital or other abnormalities or defects.”
