It has been speculated that Jay-Z disses Kanye West at least five times on his latest album 4:44, most notably on tracks “Kill Jay Z,” “Bam,” and “Caught Their Eyes.”

Ye has been quiet as a mouse on the matter, aside from wifey Kim Kardashian catching feelings about the subliminal shots from Hov. According to one of the co-hosts of The Joe Budden Podcast with Rory and Mal, Yeezy got some choice words for Mr. Carter.

“[Kanye] got a few words in response to what Jay had on 4:44” on his next album,” he said. “[Kanye] wasn’t smiling…He was smiling before that conversation started. He said some funny shit. He said, ‘Yeah man, I was next to Jay for years standing right next to him, why he didn’t give me no jewels he put on the album?’ He was like, ‘Damn he could have schooled me to all of this shit when I was right next to him.’”

The co-host suggests that West is planning to hit Jay hard and swift with his responses. “There’s some malice,” the co-host claimed.

Here the conversation below around the 1:33:50 mark.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Kanye West had complained that the music streaming company owned by Jay-Z, Tidal owes him money. West left the company after claiming that they owe him more than $3 million.West was suppose to get a bonus from Tidal after his The Life of Pablo album brought in 1 1/2 million new subscribers. Kanye also says that Tidal has reneged on reimbursing him for music videos that he paid for on his own.

Tidal has threatened to sue Kanye if he goes to another streaming service. At the moment he isn’t looking to go to any other streaming services any time soon. Kanye West isn’t interested in Spotify, Apple, or any other streaming platforms. It has been said that West would like his music to be available on as many music platforms as possible and would like to avoid limited access.

Kanye set out to split from Tidal over 2 weeks ago. Somehow the news did not hit the media until after Jay-Z’s lyrics that are said to be a diss to West were unveiled on Jay-Z’s new album ,4:44 that was released last week .

“I know people backstab you, I feel bad too / But this f*** everybody attitude ain’t natural / But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him 20 million without thinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*** was he thinkin’? / ‘F*** wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ / But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane” on Jay-Z’s new 4:44 album.
