Kim Kardashian Is Reportedly Upset with Jay-Z for Dissing Kanye West on ‘4:44’ Album

You probably have already memorized the lines on “Kill Jay Z” from Jigga’s newly released 4:44 album when he addresses his strained relationship with Kanye West.

Over a seething, No I.D.-produced sample of The Alan Parsons Project’s “Don’t Let It Show,” he raps: “You walkin’ around like you invincible, you dropped outta school, you lost your principles/I know people backstab you, I felt bad too/But this ‘fuck everybody’ attitude ain’t natural/But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe/But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/You gave him 20 million without blinkin”/He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin’?/’Fuck wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

Apparently, Kim Kardashian isn’t feeling the way that Hov aired out her husband. “She gets very protective of her husband, like a mama bear,” a source told HollywoodLife.com. “She thinks it was a low blow to diss Kanye and throw around words like ‘insane’ after all he’s been through. Kanye had a real difficult time last year and is still coming out of it, so to hit him like that wasn‘t cool.”

The Wests are not the only ones who are giving a side eye to 4:44. Both Eric Benet and Prince’s former attorney L. Londell McMillan had a few words about Hov name dropping them.

On “Kill Jay Z,” Hov raps: “You almost went Eric Benét/Let the baddest girl in the world get away/I don’t even know what else to say/Nigga, never go Eric Benét/I don’t even know what you woulda done/In the future, other niggas playin’ football with your son.”

In the song, Jay compares his relationship to the time Benét divorced the beautiful Halle Berry. But the R&B singer had some words for Jay. On Friday morning (June 30), he tweeted: “Hey yo #Jayz! Just so ya know, I got the baddest girl in the world as my wife….like right now!”

Benét has been married to Manuela Testolini, the ex-wife of the late Prince, for six years. Check out the tweet below.

On the song, “Caught Their Eyes,” Jigga calls McMillan by name in reference to claims of the attorney foiling a deal he allegedly made with Prince before the singer’s death. He raps: “I sat down with Prince, eye to eye/He told me his wishes before he died/Now, Londell McMillan, he must be color blind/They only see green from them purple eyes…This guy had ‘slave’ on his face/You think he wanted the masters with his masters?/You greedy bastards sold tickets to walk through his house/I’m surprised you ain’t auction off the casket.”

In a since deleted tweet, McMillan responded to the verse, saying, “Yes, I heard the track! Not focusing on a diss track now. Focused on not letting WBR control masters. I do like the beat. #Emancipation2.”

McMillan is now an advisor to the Prince estate.
