A teary-eyed Kim Kardashian detailed the horrifying armed robbery in Paris last October in a one-minute teaser of next week’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!
“They asked for money. I said ‘I don’t have any money,'” she relives the frightening experience. “They dragged me out to the hallway, on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs.”
Kim describes the scene to sisters Kourtney and Khloé. “I was like, ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision.’ Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back?’ It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they’re going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator doesn’t open in time, or the stairs are locked, then, like, I’m fucked. There’s no way out.”
Kardashian was held at gunpoint inside her hotel room by two armed masked men dressed as police officers on Oct. 3 while she was visiting Paris during Fashion Week.
Since the incident, 17 people were reportedly arrested for questioning in connection with the robbery. A spokesman for the Paris prosecutor told CNN that one suspect dropped a diamond pendant while fleeing the hotel holdup on bicycles. A bystander found the charm in the street and turned it into police hours after the robbery and DNA helped lead to suspects.
