Kodak Black Arrested for Violation of Probation, Held Without Bond

After being sentenced to serve 120 days back in September for two misdemeanor weed charges, Kodak Black has been placed back behind bars.

According to published reports, despite the 19-year-old’s hard efforts to stay out of trouble since being released on $100K bond in December, Black was arrested for violating probation following his court hearing this evening (Feb. 28th). According to the Broward County, Fla. courthouse, the Miami rapper violated probation for charges stemming from a May arrest that include strong arm robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a delinquent and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.

In the arrest warrant obtained by XXLKodak violated probation by “failing to remain confined to his approved residence except for one half hour before and after approved employment, public service work, or any other special activities approved by the officer” various times and dates since his initial bond release.

The warrant also states that evidence from pictures and video were used to showing that Kodak was at “various places that were not approved,” including a strip club called Club Lexx in Miami on or around Feb. 1 and Adrien Broner’s boxing match in Cincinnati, Ohio on Feb. 18.

Kodak has been working on new music, including the release of his latest single, “Tunnel Vision,” which currently sits at no. 27 on the Billboard charts and gearing up for his Back and Better tour.

As of press time no bond has been set for Kodak Black, we will keep you updated as this story develops.
