The signature grin wide with enough gold teeth to make Fort Knox jealous is a thing of the past. Recently, the Pompano Beach, Fla. rapper got all of his permanent gold teen removed and took to Twitter to show off his pearly 32s.
Under a picture of his new look posted to Twitter, he captioned “Corporate Thuggin.”

He also posted a video to Snapchat of him finding out about having gun disease after getting the gold teeth removed.
Maybe the new look for Kodak is an attempt to clean up his image. He was released from jail on June 5 and was originally sentenced to 364 days in county jail for violating his house arrest. This past Monday (June 12), Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen filed documents asking the judge if working with rappers or associating with family members with a criminal history would be a violation of his house arrest.
Under conditions of his house arrest, Kodak Black is not permitted to associate with any persons with criminal backgrounds. In the past, the Florida rapper has recorded with Rick Ross, Gucci Mane and Young Thug, all of whom have had run-ins with the law.
So it is understandable why he is being extra careful in planning his next collaboration. The motion states: “defendant is requesting that the court allow an exception for work associates and family members, regarding the condition to not associate with known felons.”
The judge not yet ruled on the request. And apparently neither Kodak nor his lawyer can be too careful. The last time he ran afoul of the terms of his house arrest for visiting a strip club, he was made to sit down for 97 days in the bing. He was found guilty of five counts of violating his house arrest in a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. courtroom on April 26. That round of the Pompano Beach, Fla. rapper’s troubles started after he was given a year of house arrest and five years of probation as part of a 2016 plea deal.
He was ordered to remain at his house in Pembroke Pines. The only time that he was allowed to leave was for work. Then, he needed prior permission from his probation officer. He was accused of going to many places, including a Miami strip club and a boxing match in Ohio, without the permission.
