Lil Wayne Officially Signs with Roc Nation [Watch]

Lil Wayne has made the partnership between him and Jay Z extend beyond Tidal, to an actual deal with Roc Nation.

Last night while performing at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, he revealed the good news to the audience before launching into his next act.

“Is it cool if I just say it? It’s the Roc. You know I’m a member of that team now. We’ll talk about that later though.”

During his performance in Austin at SXSW during the Live at the BBQ event, Weezy told fans that he was “too focused on life to worry about Birdman.”

Wayne’s announcement may end up being another false alarm. In 2015 the Young Money MC previously teased a deal with Roc Nation but it turned out, Wayne secured a partnership with Tidal.

Only time will tell if it’s true, hopefully, this means we will finally get the Carter V released.
