Ludacris and Ty Dolla Sign Team Up to Prescribe “Vitamin D” [Watch]

Ludacris and Ty Dolla $ign have teamed up to give ladies just what the doctor ordered in the new video for Luda’s new song, “Vitamin D.”

The clip opens with Ludacris, as a plastic surgeon, strolling through a waiting room, filled with beautiful women, puffing out his CGI-enhanced six-pack to the strains of the strings from Sisqo’s “Thong Song.” “Vitamin D” works that sample throughout, embedding it between hard-hitting trap percussion while Ludacris and Ty Dolla $ign spit lascivious verses and administer a variety of routine tests to their scantily clad patients.

Later on in the video, Luda is seen sporting a six-pack that is very obviously more CGI than crunches. The hilarious CG-abs addition seemed to initially fly over fans heads as many began to roast Luda, until a fan reminded everyone that obvious-looking CGI is kinda Luda’s thing. As Stereogum points out, Ludacris has been doing this for years, even if it took some of his fans a minute to remember that.

“Vitamin D” marks Ludacris’ first song since his 2014 album, Ludaversal, despite the release of the single, the ATL-bred rapper has yet to announce any details about a possible follow-up or an upcoming album. Ludacris will, however, appear in The Fate of the Furious,  the eighth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, which opens April 14th.
