Nicki Minaj Promises New Album Dropping Soon, “Don’t Kill Me Y’all”

It’s been since summers since Nicki Minaj dropper her double-platinum third studio album The Pinkprint. And she acknowledges her fans’ need for another project, as the Young Money rapper recently observed the 10-year anniversary of her first mixtape Playtime Is Over via Instagram.

In a post containing a picture of the decade-old album cover, Barbie captioned: “According to #TheKingdom, today is the 10 year anniversary of #PlaytimeIsOver [my 1st MIXTAPE] Interestingly enough, #ThePinkprint {my 3rd album ~ dropped 2 1/2 years ago} is back on the Billboard 200 this week, extending its record as longest charting female rap album in Billboard history. My fans are incomparable. There will never be enough words for me to fully explain how much I love you. I know you’re waiting “patiently” for the 4th right? 🌚 emphasis on “patiently”. Don’t kill me y’all. Haha! I Love u 🎀 #ItsBarbieBitch 🎀.”

In other Nicki news, the Queens rapper had fans buzzing when Nas shared an emotional Instagram message on July 4 captioned: “U on my mind.”

His post raised suspicion that it’s Minaj who he was longing for. However, HollywoodLife.com reported that “Nas was trying to get Nicki’s attention and her sympathy with that picture but it totally backfired,” a hip hop insider reportedly told the celebrity media outlet. “She was turned off, she thought he looked weak. She told him to man up. If he wants her to be his Queen he needs to act like a King.”
