Nicki Minaj’s Mansion Reportedly Trashed in $200,000 Burglary

It was all good just a week ago for Young Money queen Nicki Minaj until someone reportedly broke into her Los Angeles mansion making off with property worth an estimated $200,000.

According to TMZ, the burglary took place sometime this week and sources close to the investigation suggests the break-in was “personal” and left the residence “totally trashed.”

Law enforcement sources said that the suspects wrecked furniture and other items in the house, hinting the intruders were looking for “something specific.” Although police are unclear what the specific item or items were, the suspects ultimately escaped with “a ton of jewelry and other property,” totaling $200,000. At the scene, authorities reportedly discovered signs of forced entry and the vandalization of picture frames, perfume bottles, and Minaj’s wardrobe. Police are now seeking to acquire surveillance footage in an effort to identify the suspects.

Nicki was reportedly out of town at the time of the incident, but that didn’t stop the Internet from making accusations against Meek Mill for the robbery; although we hope that is not the case, it was definitely hilarious to read.

In other Nicki Minaj news, Nicki joined the rest of the world by sending out her congrats to the Carters for their new editions, but she shouted out the youngest Carter in an affectionate post, letting Blue Ivy know she’s going to be a “great big sister.”

Nicki also made headlines earlier this week after rocking Instagram with a captionless photo of an apparent Drake reunion and a seemingly Young Money reunion after another photo surfaced with Drizzy, Nicki and Lil Wayne. Despite the speculation, no word of a new project has been announced yet, but we will keep you posted.
