Rihanna and Azealia Banks Have Cat Fight on Instagram

Rihanna and Azealia Banks got into a squabble on Instagram this morning (Jan. 29) after AB posted a racial rant about her thoughts on the Muslim ban as well as suggestions that people shouldn’t pay attention to celebrities’ political views, especially Ri Ri, who “isn’t a citizen and can’t vote,” according to Banks.

What don’t Americans understand about their place in this world? Why does it come as such a shock for me to be admitting what you should already know? The American dream rest of an a bed of systematically oppressed underclasses that extend far beyond our borders… THIS IS WHAT WE DO!! Now, all of you shithead who are saying I’m stupid are typing from Chinese made cellular phones that are made from minerals mined by six year old in the Congo. These kids barely get paid, barely get fed and work under the most disgusting conditions just so YOUR stupid ass has the LUXURY AND PRIVILEGE to sit back and complain about it all. YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN AMERICANISM AND THEN TURN AROUND TO CONDEMN IT.

You don’t get to show up in another man’s country, kill his young , his wives, ruin his home and think a peace talk Is going to be the end of it. ITS NOT. There’s absolutely no way to end this war but to finish it ourselves. It’s TERRIBLE, do I agree with it , NO, do I personally like what’s happening , NO! When the Barbados-born singer got wind of the posts, she returns fire with a post of her own. She seemingly targets Banks’ religion as she hashtags #stayawayfromthechickens #saveourhens.

Their verbal altercation got even more heated when Banks retaliated in two posts that insulted Rihanna’s intelligence and insulted her background as an immigrant. In one of the post’s captions, AB writes, “don’t get all wound up over that rihanna shit, she doesn’t read books or write songs, she doesn’t have the brains to go toe to toe with me or engage in a full fledged discussion about anything …..with anyone.”

What rihanna meant was …. “I GREW UP PLAYING SOCCER IN A DIRT YARD WITH A COCONUT AND OPEN MY LEGS FOR ANY AND EVERY MOTHERFUCKER WHO I THINK I CAN GET TO WRITE ME SONGS OR BUY ME DRUGS. I CAN BARELY PERFORM BECAUSE I LINE MY BROWN BLUNTS WITH CRYSTAL METH AND AM OFTEN VERY WINDED ON STAGE.”
